i was bummed. i was like 85% american what ever. i was shooting for something cool. but alas, i sound like the guy on the evening news. except i have that rural accent common back home. i learned to suppress it in school (thanks teach!) but when i get tired or drunk it comes out. but the words are the regular american.

oh and 5% german? isn’t english a germanic language anyway? so then wouldn’t most english speakers have the same “other 5%?”

Well, my wife doesn’t speak German, she speaks Spanish, so if she ended up with an other 5% I would say guess is Spanish.
Richard Pryor in Superman III would guess the unknown ingredient is tar. Maybe that’s why people think Americans are jerks. (Just like the altered kryptonite with tar made Superman a jerk.)
