Instead of going to Allen Fieldhouse, I’m being a bum and watching at home with my wife. So much the better for the readers of this blog. I’ll update throughout the game as necessary. (I’ll keep the random ‘woohoos’ to a minimum.)

Rose has been completely irrelevant in this half, yet we’re only up 5.

33-28 Kansas. What a low-scoring game for both teams! I think we stand a really good chance of winning this one!

We’re in for another 20 minutes of amazing basketball! Man, I love this game!

Chalmers hits both his free throws for a 35-33 lead, then we foul them as they score. Darnell needs to come out for a while. Sasha was doing well, we need to get him back out there.

37-38. We need to get momentum back, but hey’re fouling us. I guess #3 on Dorsey is a good thing, but not if we don’t hit our free throws.

39-38. TV Time out. Neither team’s even hit 40 points yet. I think that’s got to be in our favor, but we’ll see. It’s raining outside here in Lawrence, Kansas. I hope it’s that cleansing rain that heals, not an angry rain that floods & ravages…unless it represents KU flooding on defense and ravaging on offense…

Rose gets another 3-pt play opportunity. Why can’t we keep doing what we were doing against him?? Why can’t we score? Why can’t we get any offensive rebounds??? Come on,’Hawks! Want it!!!

That was the sickest 3 I’ve ever seen (in a bad way)! And Rose hits it as the shot clock runs out. I think we can make this happen, but I don’t know how. I’m going to sit back and watch the last few minutes of play and see. If we lose, we’ve already lost by now. If we win, I don’t want to interrupt my watching it by blogging.
