My friend Jeff is the Star Wars geek I could never be. At his wedding on Saturday, his groom’s cake was shaped like the Death Star!

Mike,

Had you been so kind as to offer up your invaluable, and clearly thought out, opinion several months ago, you could have prevented what obviously was the biggest faux pas of the year. You’re absolutely right that this was so tacky that it served only to ruin the festivities for me, my wife, and everyone who attended my wedding. What was I thinking?

I am not a big Star Wars fan and I thought the cake was awesome!
