I had an interview today with the state guardianship agency. Looks like things are going to move forward at the speak of the courts, so either by March 2007 (or March 2027) there will be a guardianship hearing and then I’ll be officially responsible. Finally turned in my application to be appointed legal guardian for a man I used to work with. I’m now looking forward to background checks, interviews, training sessions, and maybe even court hearings. Yay.
I just consider it practice for adoption, in a weird way.
