Random Acts of Mind by Dones

Just a quick note before my programming fundamentals class starts:

At the risk of boring my readers with another post about a song, this one is more tied to the person singing the song. Beyonce’s ‘Irreplaceable’ has been running through my brain all morning, and I can’t think anything but ‘ironic’. That is, no one should ever say to another, ‘Don’t you ever for a moment get to thinking you’re irreplaceable,’ because you’re implying that you yourself *are* irreplaceable. I can only say this in a humble way, of course, because otherwise we get into an irony loop and the universe explodes. And if the universe is going to blow up, it certainly isn’t going to be because of Beyonce and little ol’ me. So I better quit while I’m ahead…
