Widgets Galore
Cats: Blog|I have installed Automattic‘s Widget Engine on my blog and currently it works fine but is having a tussle with my theme CSS. So at least on IE 6.0 the sidebars are wiggy. But I’ll get there. If nothing else, I may need to cheat the main column to the left a few pixels and change the background image accordingly to get everything to fit right. I that’ll be good, since I want less ‘dead’ space on the left side of the page, and one or both of my sidebars could stand to be a little wider. All good things, it’s just a matter of taking the time away from other priorities to get it done.
I’m interested in finding out how it looks on your screen in your browser, so either pst a comment with feedback, or email me a screenshot to blog *at* metamorphilia $dot$ com.

Removed the broken YouTube video and the sidebars look much better. I’ve done all the updating and correction I feel I need for now, but please let me know how it works for you.

i use firefox (cause IE sucks). the main section is mostly centered – kind of to the right. with all those abstractions of pot plants on the left.
i like the color scheme. very soothing.

Thanks for the input. At first I just used the color scheme I had developed on the main site, and improvised a couple designs over the original graphics included in this WP theme. But I must say it’s growing on me. Now I just need to get the comments box to work correctly in IE and I’ll be set. Unfortunately work & school insist on IE 6, so I at least need to make it work for me. :( But FF rules! and I will always ensure my page works best in FF.
Now, when you say it’s ‘soothing’, are you implying my blog puts you to sleep?? Because I prefer my writing to do that… ;)
